MamaStory ("the App") is a children's story narration app. We take the privacy of our
users, especially children, very seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it,
and your rights.

This information is provided voluntarily by the parent/guardian and is used solely for the birthday greeting
feature within the App.

- Location data
- Contact lists
- Photos or camera access
- Browsing history

2. How We Use Your Data
- Provide the service: Play stories, generate audio, manage subscriptions.
- Personalization: Show preferred languages, birthday greetings, continue listening.
- Abuse prevention: Prevent misuse of free tier and voice cloning limits.
- Improve the App: Understand which stories are popular (aggregated, anonymous).
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.
3. Data Storage & Security
- Data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers.
- All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest (AWS managed encryption).
- Voice samples and custom audio are stored in private S3 buckets accessible only to the account owner.
- Authentication tokens are short-lived (15 minutes) with secure refresh mechanism.

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for the service to
function.
5. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
- The App is designed for children under parental supervision.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental consent.
- The parent/guardian controls the account and can delete all data at any time.
- We do not display advertisements to children.
- We do not share children's data with third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Data Retention
- Account data: Retained until account deletion.
- Voice samples: Deleted immediately on account deletion or voice removal.
- Subscription records: Retained for billing continuity even after account deletion.
- Usage counters: Retained to prevent abuse (no personal content, just counts).
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: View your data via the Profile section in the App.
- Delete: Delete your account and all personal data from App settings.
- Correct: Update your preferences and child information at any time.
- Export: Contact us to request a copy of your data.
8. Account Deletion
When you delete your account through the App:
- Profile, voices, custom audio, favourites, ratings, and progress are permanently deleted.
- Voice samples are removed from our servers and third-party services (ElevenLabs).
- Subscription billing continues until expiry (managed by Google Play, not us).
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App.
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
